Training Centre privacy notice
Last updated: October 2026
This notice covers the MyMortgageMate Training Centre only. Our calculators work the same as always: no login, and the numbers you enter stay in your browser.
What we collect
- Your name, phone number and email address, when you register.
- Your choices: that you accepted this notice, and whether you asked for updates.
- Your training progress: sessions finished, practice files matched and videos watched.
- When you registered and when you last signed in.
Why we collect it
- To email you your access code and let you sign in.
- To save your progress so you can pick up on any device.
- To know who is using the Training Centre and to contact you about your training.
- If you ticked the updates box: to email you MyMortgageMate news and new training. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out any time by emailing us.
Where it's kept
Your details and progress are stored in Google Workspace (Google Sheets and Gmail), which we use to run the Training Centre. Google may store or process this information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessed under local law. Access codes are stored in scrambled form, so nobody can read them, including us.
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your information. We only share it with the service providers that run the Training Centre for us, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your training account while you're using it. We delete accounts that haven't been used for 24 months. You can ask us to delete yours at any time.
Website analytics
Like the rest of MyMortgageMate.ca, these pages use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. It isn't linked to your training account.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by emailing info@MyMortgageMate.ca. If you withdraw consent for us to hold your details, we'll delete your training account.
If you're not happy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. You can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
